The Community Innovation Centre opened on 16 April 2019.
The launch was built around a panel discussion on the education system, the attitudes of parents and the community, and the potential of young people.
Makers, artists, entrepreneurs, community representatives, decision-makers and parents were invited, and the handmade work of the first participants was on sale at the door.
