The first two changemakers

SPM Industries, led by Jayanthan Amalanathan, and OceanBiome, led by Shanjeevan Amalanathan, were the first two changemakers to come through the DreamSpace Lifecycle.

Both names appear earlier in the record, from the year before: the HackaDev seed grant, Trash for Trade, the underwater glider, the Canary Islands glider school. The pathway did not start with a cohort intake. It started with two people who kept turning up.

DreamSpace Academy publishes no headline count of ventures. A count needs a stated role and a stated population it is counted from, and neither exists yet.
