DreamSpace Academy won the Peace Direct Award, with US$10,000, at PeaceCon 2020, for peacebuilding and reconciliation work in war-affected regions of Sri Lanka. It was presented before Congresswomen Susan W. Brooks and Grace Meng of the United States House of Representatives.
The work recognised was the Dreams of Peace group, doing peacebuilding through open science and technology.
