On 20 February 2021 a Cygnus NG-15 resupply mission launched to the International Space Station carrying a payload for ExoLab-8, an experiment DreamSpace Academy took part in.
The experiment looked at how spaceflight stress affects the symbiosis between red clover and nitrogen-fixing Rhizobium bacteria, the first attempt at legume root nodulation in microgravity. Participants here ran the ground-side counterpart at the Space Lab bench.
Six months later the same experiment was replicated on ExoLab-9.
