Felix Klee’s Fighouse was a research installation testing banyan and fig as a building material: a bamboo tetrahedron tent, plus a sensor “data pod” that sonified fig leaves, sited at the DreamSpace Hive and at landmarks around Batticaloa.

It is a structure grown rather than built, in a district full of banyan trees, with the tree’s own signals turned into sound.
