The Electromechanics Lab ran a workshop on fundamental electromechanics at Cheddipalayam Maha Vidyalayam in October 2022, a well-resourced school twenty kilometres from Batticaloa town that did not have enough people able to teach the subject.
The shortage is of people rather than equipment, which is why the in-school programme that runs at scale three years later is built on teacher training rather than on donated hardware.
