Microbiology and mycology workshop

A one-day workshop in microbiology and mycology, led by the biologist and mycofabrication trainer Alessandro Volpato with Cris Silva, who ran the Bio Lab.

The stated intent was to build a community around biotechnology research after the lab was set up, rather than to run the lab as a facility for a few people. It is the start of the mycelium work that reaches the biomaterials sessions at Dinacon four months later and the mycelium biocomposite in the years after.
