Trash for Trade won Emerging Women Technopreneur of the Year for the Northern Province at the 2022 SLASSCOM Ingenuity Awards, and came second for the Best UN17 Sustainable Development Goal Initiative or Software Solution in the information-technology sector. Abitharani Jeyachandran accepted on the venture’s behalf.
It is a second consecutive year of recognition at the national technology-industry awards for the same plastics venture, in different categories.
