Eric Walsh, High Commissioner of Canada to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, visited on 26 April 2023, going through the labs and talking to the people who run them.
He came back in August 2024, that time to the newly opened MakerSpace and to meet the grassroots innovators. A Deputy High Commissioner visited in between, in September 2023, and the Head of the Development Section in November 2024.
