January 2023 is the earliest dated evidence of the Media Lab. By September it appears as one of three labs photographed as finished infrastructure, alongside electronics and software.
Media is the largest cluster of delivery in the record and, for years, the least claimed: absent from the mission statements while being a leading revenue line. This is the point at which it stopped being a set of workshops and became a room with equipment in it.
