On 25 October 2023 the first Visual Content Makers Sri Lanka cohort received their awards, and the Dive EAST tourism platform launched at the same event. David Ablett, Team Leader of Skills for Inclusive Growth, was chief guest, with the Regional Manager for the East.
The programme ended with a platform the trained people could supply, not only with certificates. Three years after the first Visual Content Makers exhibition in a technical institute hall, the East had somewhere to put the work.
