The Dreams of Women zone ran at She PRIDE of the Nation, a public event at the District Secretariat in Trincomalee on International Women’s Day 2023, organised by the Nucleus Foundation with GIZ Sri Lanka and Swiss Development and Cooperation, in collaboration with the Eastern Provincial Council and the District Secretariat.
The zone was visited by the Eastern Province Governor, Anuradha Yahampath, and by Kapila Athukorala, Member of Parliament for the Trincomalee District.
It is one of three mass public events in the record, reaching more than a thousand people. Those are held separately from workshop attendance and never added to it: a person walking past a stand and a person completing a three-month bootcamp are not the same claim.
