Dham Dham Riddim was a ten-day digital music-production bootcamp from February 2024, supported by the Goethe-Institut, with the guest artists Lucinda Dayhew and Sumugan Sivanesan, the same pair who ran Thaalam Riddim Reapers during Dinacon in 2022.
A one-day workshop on tempo, beats and digital audio workstations ran first, to find the beatmakers who would take part. The bootcamp covered recording technique including capturing environmental sound, recording equipment, and the Reaper workstation, alongside sampling, beat-making and songwriting.
The results were released on DreamSpace Records’ Bandcamp in August 2024.
